Pacific plantain
Pacific plantain is sometimes used informally to refer to the subgroups of banana that were domesticated in the Pacific region and belong to the AAB genome group, namely Iholena and Maoli-Popoulu.
Pacific Plantain is also the name of a Maoli-Popoulu cultivar1 .
